Integrate Salesforce with Salescaling to link meetings, contacts, and opportunities and keep your commercial history centralized.
Salesforce
Integrate your Salesforce account to link your Salescaling recordings with your sales opportunities, contacts, and accounts, keeping all your customer information centralized.
1. Connection Process
How to Connect Your Salesforce Account?
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Find the Salesforce card and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to the Salesforce login page to enter your credentials and authorize the connection.
2. Required Permissions in Salesforce
The user performing the connection must have sufficient permissions to:
- Read and write to Contact, Account, and Opportunity objects
- Create and modify Events and EventRelations
- Access data for associations between objects
3. Information Flow: From Salescaling to Salesforce
After a meeting is processed, Salescaling automatically creates activities in Salesforce:
- Meeting Events: Events are created in Salesforce with all meeting information
- Meeting Summaries: Detailed notes with the conversation summary are added
- Consolidated Notes: All meeting notes and clips are consolidated into a single activity, organized by smart category
- Automatic Associations: Automatically linked with contacts, accounts, and opportunities
4. Information Flow: From Salesforce to Salescaling
Salescaling uses read permissions to enhance the Associations functionality, linking each recording with the correct Contact, Account, and Opportunity records.
5. Automatic Cascade Associations
Salescaling implements an intelligent system of cascade associations specifically optimized for Salesforce:
How Cascade Associations Work:
- Contact → Account: When a meeting is associated with a contact, it is also automatically linked with:
- The account associated with that contact
Important Note: In Salesforce, Contact to Opportunity associations are handled differently due to the shared
WhatIdfield structure between Account and Opportunity, preventing data conflicts.
6. Benefits of Full Integration
- Complete Business Context: Each meeting is automatically associated with all related records
- Automatic Synchronization: No need to manually link each association
- Data Consistency: Information remains synchronized between Salesforce and Salescaling
- Enriched Analytics: Metrics and analyses include the full context of business relationships
- Optimization for Salesforce: The cascade logic is specifically designed for Salesforce's data structure
