Connecting your CRM

Connecting your CRM

Connecting your CRM with Salescaling allows you to enrich your conversations with customer context and centralize information, ensuring that your interaction history is always complete.

1. How to Connect your CRM?

The process is designed to be fast and secure:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Look for the CRM section and locate the one your organization uses (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, Membrain, Pipedrive).
  3. Click the Connect button.
  4. You will be redirected to your CRM's login page to enter your credentials and authorize Salescaling to access your data.

Once authorized, the connection will be active.

2. Controlling what is written to the CRM timeline

After processing a call or meeting, Salescaling can write a summary and a consolidated note with Smart Categories clips to your CRM timeline. If the volume of entries is too high, you can control it without disconnecting the integration.

See the CRM timeline synchronization guide to:

  • Understand which activities are created per call.
  • Enable or disable the synchronization of summaries and Smart Categories notes.
  • Keep the reading of contacts, companies, and deals intact.

Quick access: Settings > Integrations > your CRM card > settings icon > Timeline sync section.

3. Main Benefit: Automatic Associations

The main benefit of this integration is to boost the Associations functionality within your meetings. By connecting your CRM, Salescaling can automatically identify participants and link the recording with their corresponding contact, company, and/or deal records in your CRM.

This allows you to have complete traceability of all conversations related to a customer or a sales opportunity.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do I need to be a CRM administrator (e.g., Hubspot) to connect the integration?

Yes, you generally need administrator permissions in your Hubspot account to authorize the connection of third-party applications like Salescaling.

Which CRMs are compatible with Salescaling?

Currently, Salescaling integrates with Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, Membrain, and Pipedrive. You can see the updated list in Settings > Integrations.

Why is a meeting participant not "associated" correctly with a contact in my CRM?

The most common cause is that the email address the participant used in the meeting invitation does not exactly match the email address registered in their contact record in the CRM. To ensure a correct association, verify that both emails are identical.

How do I reduce the volume of notes or activities that Salescaling writes to my CRM?

You do not need to disconnect the integration. Go to Settings > Integrations, open your CRM settings, and adjust the Timeline sync toggles. See the CRM timeline synchronization guide for recommended options based on your case.
