Seats

View, increase, or decrease the seats included in your organization's subscription.

Seats

Seats determine how many members can use your organization's paid features. From Billing you can check:

  • The total number of seats contracted.
  • How many are occupied.
  • How many are available.

Member, invitation, and permission management is explained in Teams and users and Roles and permissions.

Adding seats

The Owner can add seats from Billing.

  • New seats become available immediately.
  • You are charged the prorated amount for the remainder of the current period.
  • The next renewal will include the new number of seats.

If there are no seats available when inviting members, the platform allows you to add the necessary ones before completing the invitation.

Removing seats

Only unassigned seats can be removed. If a seat is occupied, you must first free it up from Users and then remove it from Billing.

The Owner's seat must always be maintained.

Freeing up a seat does not automatically reduce the subscription amount: you must also remove it from Billing. The reduction may generate a credit for future invoices, but not a cash refund.

Seats and plan changes

Before downgrading your plan, the organization must meet the seat limit of the target plan. If the change is blocked:

  1. Free up the occupied seats you no longer need.
  2. Remove the seats that are available.
  3. Try the plan change again.

See Billing and subscription to learn when changes are applied and how they affect renewal.

Special conditions

Some organizations have a number of seats agreed upon directly with Salescaling. These seats are part of their commercial terms.

To review or modify the agreement, contact Support.

When to contact support

Contact Support if:

  • The number of seats does not match the contracted terms.
  • You cannot add or remove an available seat.
  • A plan change remains blocked after reducing the seats.
  • You need to modify a special commercial agreement.
