Smart Categories

Smart Categories are one of Salescaling's most advanced features. They allow you to create personalized "moment detectors" that instruct the AI to automatically identify, extract, and group specific topics or events that occur during conversations.

The result of a Smart Category finding a match is the automatic creation of a Nota and a Clip in the corresponding meeting, saving the effort of having to manually search for and create these moments.

1. Creating and Configuring a Smart Category

To create a new category, click the + Add Smart Category button. This will open a form that acts as the training panel for the AI.

• Nombre: A clear and descriptive title for the category (e.g., "Competitor Mention", "Agreed Next Steps").
• Descripción: A detailed instruction for the AI, explaining the objective and context of what it should look for. It functions as a "prompt" that guides the model.
• Ejemplos: This is a crucial field. Here, you should add examples of textual phrases that the AI might encounter and that would activate this category. Providing clear and varied examples is key for the AI to be accurate in its detection.

2. Usage and Association with Tipos de Actividad

A Smart Category is not applied to all meetings by default. To activate it, it must be associated with one or more Tipos de Actividad.

• Associated meeting types: In the detail view of each Smart Category, you can see and manage which Tipos de Actividad it is linked to. The AI will only search for the moments defined by this category in recordings that have one of the associated activity types assigned.

I have created a "Smart Category", but it doesn't generate any clips. Why?

The two most common causes are: 1) Not enough clear and varied examples have been added for the AI to know what to look for. 2) The Smart Category has not been associated with the correct Tipos de Actividad in its configuration panel.
